Since opening in 1941, our facility has expanded to over 28,000 square feet of manufacturing, warehouse, and office space. Our onsite engineering department allows us to take a concept from the drawing board to finished product in the most economical way. Our company is capable of using several different manufacturing and tooling methods, which allows a choice to meet your needs effectively.  We have a wide range of top-quality services we offer to help our clients streamline their product planning and expedite schedules. From pre-prototype to post-production, we have the capability and experience to produce high quality parts, assemblies and on time deliveries.

Vibration & Sound Solutions Limited (VSSL)
Shock-mitigating seat for U.S. Navy vessels – the semi-active adaptively controlled seats (SAACS) were developed and fabricated by VSSL and Excel Pattern Works for the X-Craft SEA FIGHTER, a 262-foot high-speed aluminum catamaran. The product was created to mitigate shock to personnel in rough sea conditions while preventing injuries and reducing high levels of physical and cognitive fatigue.


Richard sold the shop and all its contents to two of his long-time employees Roland Gauvin and Sam Walsh. Roland took over the role of president while Sam maintains the role as Vice president and together they have continued to maintain the quality and service that our customers have come to expect over our 75 years in business.
